Leadership Forum Continuing Education

"What's next?"

We hear this question all the time from our Leadership Training graduates and their corporate sponsors. Our Leadership Forum and Continuing Education program allows leaders to continue developing new insights and sharpening their skills.

Bullet Proof® Manager graduates as well as CEOs and senior HR Professionals subscribe to our Leadership Forum CE program to ensure that their investment in leadership development continues to return results on an ongoing basis. Leadership Forum CE subscribers attend one workshop per quarter which focuses on a new leadership training module from Crestcom, each created based on emerging leadership trends and business research.

Following the training module, each Leadership Forum CE workshop also includes a facilitated round table discussion on a topic nominated and voted on by participants. Leaders have an opportunity to present their most pressing challenges and receive advice and observations from their peers.

Crestcom Leadership Forum CE Program

We explore, in-depth, one topic per quarter on an on-going basis.
Each quarter, the content and topic is different, and Forum session topics are never repeated.

April 2019: Be the Coach They Need

A recent survey by Gallup found that only 21% of employees strongly agree that their performance is managed in a way that motivates them to do outstanding work.

Coaching is a relatively new style of leadership that has increased in popularity over the last few decades. It has become an essential component of a leader’s toolkit. When done effectively it can improve employee engagement, productivity, and overall competence.

Developing a coach’s mindset, approach, and culture is essential to organizational success. Without it, productivity declines, morale decreases, and performance is mediocre.

A survey by the Society of Human Resources found that 93% of managers need training on how to coach. In Be the Coach They Need you will apply the foundational components of coaching and leave with the ability to leverage coaching in any situation.

Crestcom has partnered with Steve Farber to develop this module.

Steve Farber is the president of Extreme Leadership Inc., and the founder of The Extreme Leadership Institute, organizations devoted to the cultivation and development of Extreme Leaders in the business community, non-profits and education. His books include a Wall Street Journal® and USA Today® bestseller. "The Radical Leap: A Personal Lesson in Extreme Leadership" received Fast Company magazine’s Readers’ Choice Award and was recently named one of the 100 Best Business Books of All Time.

By participating in this session, you will:

  • Demonstrate a coaching mindset.
  • Prepare an individual coaching template to improve personal and team success.
  • Employ effective tools and techniques to conduct essential conversations with team members.
